8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? over-coming a moral dilemma and leaving Tap.
9. What was your biggest failure? there are no failures

11. What was the best thing you bought? my snowboard

34.Who was the best new person you met? sylvain, i would say. but if he backs out of fernie on monday, he'll be replaced.

36. Did you get a new job in 2004? i got 2!
on sunday night, i worked until 11. i came home, packed up some stuff, slept for a few hours and headed to fernie for 2 days. it was a little cold, but not too bad most of the time, and we got a fair bit of snow falling through monday night and all day tuesday.
sylvain and i stayed at the raging elk hostel, which was cheap and would have been more fun if i wasn't ready to go to bed at 7pm.
it's really got me thinking about spending a season in a hostel just riding every day.
i know they didn't really have a lot of competition, but it's still good to see this
i do get the feeling, though, that belle and sebastian are much more popular in scotland than they are here.
just thought i'd post this to contrast mike's weather entry, while secretly hoping that no one remembers what calgary weather was like last week.
i guess there are some advantages to getting off work at 8am. i just wish my camera could do this justice.

so getting myself on to a month-to-month setup with my landlord was a lot easier than i thought it would be. now i'm free to leave whenever i want, which means i WON'T have to move in february...in the cold...
